Li Da's Important Contributions in the Ideological Debates in the Founding Period of the Party

在中共建党时期马克思主义与非马克思主义的三次论战中,李达除第一次论争时因在国外未能参加外,在后两次论争中,他均以主将的姿态一直站在理论斗争的前列,发挥了核心作用和骨干作用,成为马克思主义一方的杰出代表。他撰写了阐述马克思主义的大量论著,以唯物史观为指导,着重研究和传播科学社会主义原理。他为建立中国的马克思主义政党——共产党做了重要的思想准备和理论准备。

Li Da was away from China and was unable to take part in the first round of debates. In the following two rounds of debates he acted like a chief commander and always stood at the forefront in the theoretical struggle, playing a key role and becoming a mainstay and an outstanding representative of the Marxist side. He wrote a large number of works expounding Marxism and, with the historical materialism as a guide, studying and disseminating the principles of scientific socialism. He made noteworthy contributions and important ideological and theoretical preparations for the establishment of a Marxist political party in the country - the Communist Party of China.
