借鉴信息生态学中信息生态位理论,在阐述信息服务机构信息生态位概念的基础上,探讨信息服务机构信息生态位的优化原则与方法。认为信息服务机构信息生态位是指信息服务机构在信息生态环境以及与其他信息人的相互作用中所占据的特定位置;优化信息服务机构的信息生态位应遵循明确定位、多维吻合、宽度适当、整体协调原则。提出了信息服务机构找准信息生态位、巩固信息生态位、调整信息生态位的方法。

Using relevant theories of information niche in Information Ecology for reference,this paper expounds on the definition of information niche of information service provider,and puts forward some optimization principles and methods of information niche of information service provider,and thinks that the information niche of information service provider refers to the specific position that information service provider occupies when it is in the interaction with information ecology environment and other information people,and optimizing information service niche should follow some principles of clearly positioning,multi-dimensional anastomosis,proper width and overall coordination,and proposes some methods for information service providers to alignment,consolidate and adjust their information niche.
