摘要
字符分割是车牌识别中关键的一步。但在实际处理中,预处理的不足常常给字符分割带来很大难度,甚至导致分割的失败。在对车牌字符分割前的预处理方法进行了研究之后,提出了新的预处理方法,该方法包括反色判断、局部二值化、倾斜校正、车牌精确定位以及顶帽算法滤波等步骤。
Character segmentation of license plate is one of the key components of License Plate Recognition（LPR）.Bad preprocessing makes character segmentation difficult or even fault segmentation result.A new preprocessing method of license plate character segmentation is presented.It includes reverse color,local binarization,slant correction,accurate localization and top-hat filtering.
