原型建筑之进化——浅析BIG的设计理念与实践方式

EVOLUTIONARY PROTOTYPE:BIG'S IDEOLOGY AND DESIGN APPROACH

本文试从"建筑进化论"与"原型进化"两个概念分析丹麦设计事务所BIG的思想哲学与设计方式。"建筑进化论"解释了BIG事务所在营造微城市模型、整合城市资源、回应城市需求过程中不断演化的具体思想。"原型进化"则介绍了BIG围绕模型与概念库而展开的设计模式。

This article introduces Danish architecture practice BIG （Bjarke Ingels Group） and two key concepts of its design practice： ＂architectural evolution＂ and ＂prototype＂. The first one, ＂architectural evolution＂ explains BIG＇s micro-city model which utilizes city＇s resources and responses to city＇s needs. The second one, ＂prototype＂ is the operational model which BIG develops by archiving and evolving ideas.
