闹市结庐——浅析香港理工大学专上学院

MAKE SPACE IN DENSITY:COMMUNITY COLLEGE BUILDING,POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY,HONG KONG

本文分析了王维仁建筑研究室及ADRG与AGC设计的香港理工大学专上学院这一作品,指出建筑师合理运用院落空间原型,结合高密度的城市发展要求提出"立体合院"这一空间模式,营造出一片可进可退、可动可静、可合可分的新型校园,探讨了传统建筑文化的继承与发展。

This article reviews the community college building of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, designed by Professor Wang Weijen/ADRG/AGC. By combining the courtyard space prototype with the high density requirement, the architects put forward a space mode named ＂tridimensional courtyard＂. This new type of academic building which has dual characteristics of extroversive and introversive, dynamic and static, combined and separated, showed the inheritance and development of traditional architectural culture.
