It＇s dawn and the mountain valley in south Tibet is silent. There is only the smoke spiraling up from the kitchen chimneys of Tibetan households to greet the rising sun. From behind the overlapping mountain ranges a ray of sunlight has pierced through the thick forest to sparkle down from the summit of the mountains to the valley floor in thousands of golden highlights. Breathing in the extremely fresh but somehow humid air, our investigating team set off on our journey.
