We assume that in a supernova collapse, when matter reaches the state of super nucleardensity, quark phase transition occurs under the critical density. We calculate the collapse,bounce and shock propagation using the WW(88) initial model. We discuss the influence ofphase transitions on the transferred energy and show that for suitable values of the criticaldensity, the phase transition can increase the transferred energy, leading to stronger shocks.
