口源性口臭病因及治疗的研究进展 被引量:11

Etiology and Treatment of Intra-oral Halitosis

摘要 口臭是指呼吸时出现的臭味气体,气体中所含的主要成分是挥发性硫化物。它由多种因素造成,但约80-90%是来源于口腔内因素。研究表明,口腔微生物与口臭及口气中挥发性硫化物存在密切关系。传统的机械治疗方法和化学治疗方法虽然可以短期内改善口臭状况,但长期疗效不尽如人意。近年来,对化学抗菌剂替代品的研究和开发,成效显著。本文综述了口源性口臭病因及治疗的最新研究进展。 Halitosis,also known as oral malodor,is foul-smelling breath exhaled from the oral cavity.Most of the major com-pounds contributing to halitosis are volatile sulfur compounds(VSCs).Although halitosis is multifactorial and may involve both oral and non-oral conditions,in approximately 80-90% of all cases it is caused by oral conditions.Oral microorganisms have been correlated with halitosis and VSCs.Halitosis reduction may be obtained by a combination of mechanical treatments and chemotherapeutical.However,these two treatment approaches exhibit only temporary effects and some undesirable side-effects may occur when they are used in the oral cavity for long periods.Recently,several chemical agents alternatives present a promising approach for both the prevention and treat-ment of halitosis.
