This paper firstly reviews the development of the state sector of the economy since the founding of the People＇s Republic,points out its major defects,and therefore draw forth the major direction for its reform.Thereafter,the paper discusses the great achievements and existing troubles of the reform and development of the state sector of the economy.The paper finally generalizes the features of current reform and development of the state sector of the economy from an overall and foundational perspective.
