在我国教练员水平有限以及CBA联赛水平低迷的情况下,个别俱乐部率先采取了引进高水平篮球外籍教练的惊人举措。这是继引进外援之后,篮球联赛推出的又一项重大改革。引进高水平的外教在社会上引起了巨大的反响,也得到了社会和政府的大力支持,因为它本身就是一种优秀人才引进的手段和渠道。外教的引进使CBA联赛耳目一新。有文章说这是"洋为中用,与时俱进,开拓创新",是"一箭双雕"的英明之举。从现实意义看,外籍教练的引进可以打破CBA那种尘俗、老套、僵化的局面,增加比赛的精彩程度,调动球员的积极性。从长远意义看,可"借他山之石,攻己之玉"。笔者认为这是非常有必要的,并且认为引进高水平外籍教练是我国CBA在未来发展过程中的必经之路。

Because of the lack of capability of the Chinese basketball coaches and the low level of CBA, a number of the clubs have primarily introduced some of the high - level basketball coaches which seem to set the world on fire.
