广州京溪地下污水处理厂建设实践与思考

The location of WWTP has increasingly become a big problem in improving municipal sewer system in central area of the city. Due to difficult solution to land problem, the location of Guangzhou Jingxi WWTP experienced a long time. At last, based on a creative idea, the plant was designed as underground structure, built and put into operation successfully. A comprehensive review of the construction process of Jingxi underground WWTP was made, and a comprehensive analysis about the land saving features and advantages of underground plant was carried out. Combined with the land bottleneck in the central area of the city for WWTP construction, it is pointed out that the conservation of land resources is strongly required for design of WWTP. The successful operation of Jingxi underground WWTP creates a new mode of efficient and intensive land use for construction of WWTP, and provides new ideas and important reference for location and construction of WWTP in the central area of the city.
