随着计算机和网络技术的迅速发展,图书馆数字化也不断的发展,越来越多的新技术在图书馆中得以应用,这些新技术一方面提升了图书馆的服务质量与水平,另一方面也带来了设备成本、维护成本和人员成本的不断增加。将虚拟化技术应用到图书馆中,不仅能够节约硬件的投入、提高服务器的使用效率,更能够方便系统的管理。

With the rapid development of computer and network technologies,digital libraries have developed continuously.More and more new technologies are applied in the library.The new technologies upgrade the quality of service to the library;on the other hand,the costs of equipment,maintenance and staff are increasing.The libraries are embarrassed and facing choices,since most libraries are not capable of increasing the burden of the high cost of equipment and maintenance.Virtualization technologies applied to the library,not only can save the investment of hardware and improve the efficiency of the server but also manage system more conveniently.In the construction of digital libraries and office automation process,the application types are continuously increased.The quantity increasing in a geometric progression gives enormous pressure to the central server in the computer applied system.
