摘要
技职教育的主要目的,应该是培养具实务操作能力的学生,而在专门技术上有专精高超的能力;博士班课程则应培育有独立研究能力,能在专门学术领域中,有独到的学术理论理发现,可增进该领域学术水平。本文由美国加州高等教育体系的定位观察,进而探讨了技职教育体系设置博士班课程之因素及衍生的问题。
The goal of vocational education is to provide specialized training and job-specific skills in a particular area.The doctor degree program means that the student in question possesses knowledge of a broad field of learning and has given evidence of distinguished attainment in that field,which is a warrant of critical ability and powers of imagination and synthesis.It also means that the student has presented a dissertation containing an original contribution to the knowledge of the chosen field of study.Based on observation of California higher education system,this study examines the doctor degree program in vocational education system.
