Conversion of Heterogeneous Databases From Network to Relational Ones

The conversion on the schema from a network database to a rela- tional one,and the conversion on the data manipulation from the dBASE-Ⅲ command language to the network DML are studied.The conversion algorithms are approached.The premiss of the schema conversion and the restriction of it on the goal are discussed.The implementation of a system is intro- duced,which maps the IDS-Ⅱ database to a dBASE-Ⅲ one.
