基于因子分析的各地区高等教育发展水平研究

Factor Analysis on Higher Education Development in 31 Regions,China

当前,知识已成为提高综合国力和国际竞争力的决定性因素,高等教育在国家经济社会发展全局中居于重要地位,通过对各地区高等教育水平的评价分析,有助于客观衡量各地区高等教育的水平,进而为本地区高等教育的发展提出切实可行的政策和措施。本文借助统计学中的因子分析法,通过对全国31个地区的高等教育水平的综合得分和各主要因子的得分进行分析比较,进一步分析各地区高等教育的实力和水平,进而得出促进高等教育发展的几点启示。

At present, knowledge has been the decisive factor to enhance comprehensive national strength and international competition. Higher education plays a key role in national economic and social development. Evaluating and analyzing higher education in different districts is helpful to evaluate the development of higher education in different places, andto provide possible policies and measures for the development oflocalhigher education. Via factor analysis, this paper analyzes and compares the comprehensive scores and key factor scores of higher education level in 31 different regions in China. The paper also makes further analysis on the strength and level of higher education in different regions; and then provides some strategies to promote the development of higher education.
