Wall Planting Technology and Its Future Trend——Inspiration of Shanghai Expo

墙面绿化是对建筑墙体、围墙、桥柱、阳台、窗台等处进行垂面式绿化,是绿化思维从二维迈向三维空间的一次飞跃,是改善城市生态环境的重要举措。墙面绿化是近10多年来,因城市化加快、城市人口膨胀、土地供应紧张、城市热岛效应日益严重等一系列社会和环境问题而发展起来的一项技术。上海世博会较集中地展示了国内外墙面绿化的技术和案例,通过对上海世博会墙面绿化的全面考察,结合自己的研究和实践,系统地阐述了墙面绿化的概念、作用、类型、现状、问题和发展对策,希望促进该技术在我国的发展和应用。

Wall planting is a kind of vertical greening including greening on facades of walls,bridges,balconies and windows,which is a leap of greening concept from two dimensions to three dimensions with profound realistic meanings.As city development accelerates and city population expands in limited area,the heat island effect gets worse.Wall planting is a new technology accordingly to solve these problems and to improve the urban eco-environment in more than 10 years.There were lots of engineering cases displayed in Shanghai Expo,which was a centralized exhibition of this technology.In this article,by a thorough investigation of Shanghai Expo,the meanings,functions,styles,current situations and existing problems of wall planting technology are elaborated.It is hoped that it will provide support for development and application of the technology in China.
