摘要
文章通过对上海世博会各国国家馆的解读,指出发达国家展馆的轻松姿态背后,是对"现代性危机"的犹豫的回应;发展中国家的沉重姿态背后,是对"文化主体性"的迫切期待。世博主题中隐含的"临时性"和"纪念性"之间的矛盾,被不同主体根据自身的处境解读为不同的内涵,并给出了不同的形式答案。
Based on the interpretation on meanings of National Pavilions in the Shanghai World Expo,this article pointed out that behind the relaxed attitude of the developed countries,there lied a hesitant response to the so called"Modernity Crisis";On the other hand,in the developing countries,there was an eagerly awaiting"Cultural subjectivity"behind their heavy posturing.Different countries gave different interpretation of the meaning,and provided different formal solutions.This discrimination implied in the underlying duality in the Expo theme:"Ephemerality"and"Monumentality".
