文章介绍了作者时隔26年两次造访松江方塔园的个人感悟。旨在通过不断询问方塔园细部设计的用意,勾勒冯纪忠先生笔下现代性的特点。值先生故去周年之际,以表敬意。
The author gives a personal recountal of his visits to the Square Pagoda Garden designed by the late Professor Feng Jizhong,which took place in the year of 1983 and 2009 respectively. By constant comparison and contrast with the detailing of Carlo Scarpa and the designers of De Stijl,the author attempts to outline the multiplicity and layers of subtlety of Feng＇s notion of modernity in his design.Again,this article is dedicated to Professor Feng Jizhong for his significant contribution to the education of young architects and planners in China.
