This article sets the rebuilding project of URBN HOTEL which located in Jiao Zhou Road Shanghai as an example, and investigates a new way of old buildings reuse starting with outer space, individual building, carbon neutral strategy, etc, in today＇s low-carbon context. It is argued that low-carbon that acts as a sustainable development strategy should start from the system and promote the respect and regeneration of historic space resources in order to mobilize people＇s participation creatively.
