中间性及其超越——查尔斯·约翰逊小说《中途》主人公的身份转化 被引量：2

摘要 《中途》之主人公因受自身殖民身份所限,在空间上和时间两个维度上表现出非裔美国人与生俱来的中间性。他在空间上斡旋于美国白人社会与被贩卖的黑人之间,徘徊于贩奴派与贸易派之间;在时间上,他游移于他父亲所代表的充满反抗性的逃奴与他兄弟所代表的"良好黑鬼"这两代非裔美国人之间。中间性使主人公无所归依。作者安排主人公重写贩奴史上的"中途",书写历史空白,为非裔美国人提供了一条超越中间性,迈向自由的通途。
