With the quick development of informationization, the the cadets＇ English abilities are facing higher and higher requirements. In English teaching, it is extremely important to cultivate the cadets＇ reading comprehension. One of the effective ways is to cultivate the cadets＇ word guessing strategy. This essay is to analyze the actual situation and the problems in the cadets＇ word guessing ability, and some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.
