以无锡崇安寺街区一、二期改造工程的城市设计为切入点,通过分析街区空间结构和形态的设计方法,说明其对传统空间元素特征的继承和再利用,反映了传统空间元素延续历史文脉和标识地域特征的双重作用。

In this paper,the urban design of first and second phases of Chong＇an temple blocks renovation in Wuxi is a starting point.Through analyzing the design method of space structure and form in the blocks,explaining the inheritance and recycle of traditional space elements,to reflect traditional space elements has double effects to inherit historical context and mark regional characteristic.
