台湾番木瓜品种在漳州地区引种栽培及适应性比较

Cultivation and adaptability of Papaya species from Taiwan in Zhangzhou area

对新引进的马来9号、马来10号、金峰和台农2号4个台湾番木瓜品种在漳州地区进行试栽,并进行植物学性状、农艺性状、果实品质和抗病性等综合比较试验。结果表明,马来9号和马来10号品种具有高产、稳产、优质、抗病等优点,适合在漳州地区推广种植。金峰品种产量偏低,果实品质一般;台农2号品种极易感染病害,不适合在漳州地区推广种植。

Four varieties of papaya,i.e.,Malay No.9,Malay No.10,Jinfeng and Tainong No.2,from Taiwan were introduced and cultivated in Zhangzhou area.Their botanical characteristics,agronomic traits,fruit quality and disease resistance were studied.The results showed that Malay No.9 and Malay No.10 had high and stable yields,high quality and good disease resistance.On the other hand,Jinfeng were poor on fruit yield with average quality,while Tainong No.2 was easily infected by viruses.Therefore,it was concluded that Malay No.9 and No.10 would be more suitable for planting in Zhangzhou area than the other two varieties.
