A Study on the New Army Training in Xinjiang in the late of Qing Dynasty and the role of the New Army in Revolution of 1911

清末新政期间,清政府掀起编练新军的热潮,地处西北一隅的新疆编练成暂编陆军第35协和伊犁混成协两支新式陆军。新疆新军编练过程中存在诸多的掣肘性因素,成军历程曲折繁杂。新疆编练新军成效显著,其内部机制展现其现代化特征,成为清末新军中不可缺少的一环。新疆新军编练对于辛亥新疆时局影响至深且巨。

In the period of the New Deal during the Late Qing Dynasty,Qing government set off the NewArmy Training around the whole country.Xinjiang,the northwest province of China,trained two military forces.The designation of one military force was the 35th Brigade,and the other named the NewArmy of Yi Li.There are many constraint factors and difficulties during the training of the NewArmy in Xinjiang.However,the training of the NewArmy in Xinjiang had achieved remarkable success,which was an important result of the New Army Training of Qing.During the Revolution of 1911,The New Army of Yi Li played a pivotal role and made some important influences in the political progression of Xinjiang.
