Aimed at the special ocean climate where cross - sea steel bridges stand and the probability of the corrosion of steel structures, the paper explores the corrosion mechanism of steel bridges and proposes the anti - cor- rosion technologies of heavy -duty coating and recoating, which prove to be an effective method to guard against corrosion of steel structures. It finally holds that it is a must to strengthen the healthy supervision, maintenance and management of the bridges of the kind. The suggestions are of reference to other similar projects.
