目前我国的养老方式主要以家庭养老为主。但随着我国计划生育政策特别是城市独生子女政策的运行,使得原有的家庭结构、家庭规模和人们的生活方式有了很大的变化,家庭的养老保障功能日益弱化。在此情形下,社区以其独特的人力、物力和区域优势,日渐成为切实可行的养老方式。
