Different criteria for personal identity

人格同一性问题是当前西方哲学视域中所关注的重要问题之一。近代以来,许多哲学家都对这一问题进行了深入的讨论。总结起来主要有三个进路:记忆标准、物理标准以及对问题的消解。本文试图通过对这些人格同一性标准进行较为深入的比照和思考,并在当代神经生物学和认知科学的背景下阐释人格同一性标准的新的意义。

Personal identity is one of the most important concepts in western philosophy.Since modern times,philosophers have discussed the issue in depth.Briefly speaking,there are three approaches to the problem： memory criterion,physical criterion and dissolution of the problem.This article attempts to contrast and analyze these approaches,pointing to the new significance of relevant discussions in the framework of contemporary neurobiology and cognitive science.
