从互文性视角看《受戒》英译文中佛教文化的翻译

On the Translation of Buddhist Culture in the English Version of "Shou Jie" ——From the Perspective of Intertextuality

《受戒》英译文中译者主要采取了直译、音译加注和意译等方法来翻译原文中的佛教文化词汇。总体讲,译者能较好地把握宗教文化在原文中承上启下、渲染氛围的作用,对原文中宗教术语的语用意义的把握、处理也较恰当。但译者有时却忽略了译语文本与译语文化所共享的互文空间,没有对其加以利用来增强译文的审美效果。

In the English version of the story ＂Shou Jie＂,its translator renders words and expressions loaded with Buddhist culture into English through methods of literal translation,transliteration with footnotes and free translation and so on.Generally speaking,he has succeeded in presenting the function of Buddhist culture in the story＇s English version as in the original version.Yet he has occasionally neglected the intertextuality between the translated version and target culture,which in turn slightly undermines the expected aesthetic effects of the English version.
