With the Comprehensive development of the library, both paper books and electronic books are important to be collected, managed and served. How to fulfill the advantages and characteristic of these two kinds of books and offer readers high quality services is an important issue for the library. The author compares the features of paper books and electronic books, and analyses readers＇ demand on paper and electronic books, then proposes pertinent solutions to use the paper and electronic books rationally.
