20th century saw the increasing appearance of naughty boy images in the world literature.After an analysis of typical naughty boy images,the author of this paper believes that the appearance of naughty boy images has such aesthetical meanings as： catering for children＇s aesthetical seeking of happiness;meeting children＇s psychological needs;expressing children＇s hopes for growing up as a human being;and more importantly,it expresses children＇s inner philosophy of life,and it leads the children to the future of human freedom.The author concludes that an aesthetical analysis of the naughty boy images in children＇s literature benefits the audience with a proper understanding of why the ＂Bad Bloke＂ is so popular in the children＇s literature nowadays.
