摘要
本文借助M.A.K.Halliday和C.Matthiessen提出的最新隐喻理论,首先探讨了语法隐喻产生的理据,指出语法隐喻的出现是对经验重构的结果,然后通过分析政治英语中的语法隐喻现象,表明语法隐喻是人类认识世界的手段之一,同时又具备影响人类思维,构建语言现实的功能。
This paper based on the latest metaphor theory advanced by M.A.K.Halliday and C.Matthiessen,probes into the evidence for formation of grammatical metaphor,proposes the occurrence of grammatical metaphor resulted from experience reconstruction.And through the discussion of grammatical metaphor in English political texts,it intends to reveal the fact that grammatical metaphor is one of the means by which man comes to better understand the physical world and has the function of reshaping the human experience and constructing linguistic reality.
