Chen Ying＇s works truly reflected the women＇s ambivalent psychology struggled between tradition and modernization by her simple critical awareness during the May Fourth Movement,which saw congenital inheritance and the atavistic history existing in individual woman who carrying with a heavy burden of history and spiritual loads.And her works showed the original female existing ecology,and it is of rich social meanings and ethical values.
