The Influence of Ball Milling Treatment on MMT and PET/MMT Composite

摘要 采用球磨法用催化剂醋酸锑和表面活性剂改性蒙脱土(MMT),研究球磨时间对MMT层间距、红外光谱和粒度的影响,并采用原位聚合法制备PET/MMT复合材料,对其热稳定性和结晶熔融性能进行表征。结果表明:随着球磨时间的延长,MMT在乙二醇中粒度变小,有更多表面活性剂进入MMT层间;PET/MMT中MMT层间距增大、热稳定性提高。 LMontmorillonite(MMT) was modified by catalyst antimony acetate and surfactant using ball milling method. The effects of ball milling time on the layer spaeing,lR spectrum and size of MMT were studied. PET/MMT composite were prepared by in-situ polymerization. The thermal and crystallization property of PET/MMT composites were characterized. The results showed that, the longer the ball milling time, the more surfactants inserted into the MMT interlayer, and the size of MMT in ethylene glycol was smaller. The layer spacing of MMT in PET/MMT composite was bigger,while the thermal property was improved.
