从叙事学角度解读潘金莲形象的建构

Understanding of Pan Jinlian's Image from the Narrative Perspective

荷兰叙事学家米克.巴尔提出人物构建四原则:特征的积聚、重复、与其他人物的关系以及人物所经受的变化和转变。据此解析《水浒传》中潘金莲这一人物形象的塑造,可知潘金莲首先是通过作者给定的姓名、年龄、外貌和社会地位等信息聚集、整合而成;"淫"作为作者着意凸显的特征通过反复强调,语义轴的选择,使人物在与武大、武松、西门庆及其他女子的相似、对照中获得明晰、确定的形象;再者人物的境遇等造成人物的改变则完整地呈现了人物的人生轨迹,从而使读者获得一个清晰、可感、可信的人物形象。

The Netherlandish narratologist Mick o Barr put forward four principles of crating figures： accumulation of characteristics,repetition,the relationship with other characters,and the change and transformation of figures.Based on his four principles,this paper analyses the creation of Pan Jinlian＇s image of All Men are Brothers and finds out that her image was constructed through information accumulation and integration of her name,age,appearance and social status.Lewdness was repeated to demonstrate her nature and the choice of semantic axis made figures have clear and defined images by comparing Wuda,Wusong,Xi Men Qing,and other women.Moreover,the change of figures caused by their circumstances completely demonstrtated their life experience so as to make readers get clear-cut,sensible and trustworthy figure images.
