The function of the Essential Medicine System to the Issue of High Drug Cost

结合我国药品费用情况,对我国基本药物制度的几项措施进行分析,探讨基本药物制度对于缓解我国看病贵中高药品费用问题的作用。基本药物制度的主要作用是提高药品可及性,起基本保障作用,要降低药品费用,需要有效施行其他配套医疗改革措施。

In consideration of the current situation of drug cost in China, approaches and measures for implementation of the national essential medicines system were analyzed so as to appraise the function of the essential medicine system in solving the problem of high cost in hospital due to high price of medicines. It is concluded that the main roles of essential medicine system are to improve and ensure the accessibility of drugs. It is necessary to take effective supporting measures for healthcare reform to reduce the drug cost.
