The ethic foundation of 'invisible hand' is not 'selfishness',but the combination of 'self-interest' for ego and 'sympathy' for others.To turn this ethic foundation into social reality,a social structure must be established to drive individuals to reach self-interest only through 'sympathy' for others,and this structure is exactly the goods exchanging network.And the goods exchange process can be divided into two levels:interest exchange and the value exchange which is the exchange of power embedded in goods.The fundamental defect of Smith is that he didn't understand the differences between 'labor' and 'labor power'.As a result,Smith failed to understand that capital gets the power of the 'labor' merely through command over the 'labor power' and the value of former is much more than the latter,this is just a lever-like amplification effect of the possession power.
