摘要
Shannon信息论已经走过了四十年的发展历程,取得了辉煌的进展与成就。今天,信息理论的发展远远超越了原来的框架,进入了一个全新的阶段——信息科学的阶段,并对人类文明产生了更加引人瞩目的影响。 本文旨在阐明信息科学的基本概念及其与Shannon信息论的联系与区别,以期在学术界引起更广泛的兴趣和关注。
Information science, as a completely new stage of the development of information theory which was founded by C. E. Shannon 40 years ago, has recently been brought into practice and produced sigaificant impact to the human society. It is, therefore, the objective of the paper to give an introduction to the fundamentals of information science so as to make its importance more recognizable to the public.
