Optical Wave-front Division Multiplex Communication

本文首次提出:光波空间相干度可以通过多维喇曼—奈斯声光调制器调制,并且通过多路光栅将其解调,这样,多路信号即可在一条光束中传输,实现光波波前(空)分复用通信。

In this paper it is firstly pointed out that degree of spatial coherence of optical wave can be modulated by using a multidimensional Raman-Nath A-O modulator and demodulated by using multichannel optical gratings. Therefore multichannel signals can be transported in one optical beam. Optical wave-front division multiplexing can be achieved in optical communication.
