空间数据仓库技术是为地理信息以及为社会经济发展提供高质量的决策信息而产生的技术,而空间数据抽取、转换和加载(ETL)是构建空间数据仓库必经的步骤,空间ETL过程面临的主要难点是空间数据的多源异质性问题。采用元数据技术辅助空间ETL方法,实现了空间元数据管理系统。

The appearance of the spatial data warehouse technology promotes the technology of and provides high-quality decision-making resources for the development of social economy.And spatial data extraction,translation and loading（ETL） are the required procedures for building a spatial data warehouse.However,the main difficulty of the ETL process is that the spatial data has various resources.The paper uses metadata technology to aid the spatial ETL and realizes spatial metadata management system.
