Analyzing the Relationship Between Style and Theme in College English Texts

本文根据文体学的有关理论对《新编大学英语》的一篇课文进行文体分析,探讨文体与主题表达之间的关系,指出在大学英语的课文中,可以进行主题与文体的探讨,这样的分析有助于学生语言综合能力的培养。

Based on the stylistic analysis of one text taken from the course book ＂New College English＂,this paper points out that the study of the relationship between style and theme in College English texts is profitable to the cultivation of students＇ English language comprehensive ability.
