A Study on "zhi" (之) in The Analects of Confuciu

"之"在《论语》中的使用最为普遍,类型也多样复杂。本文通过对《论语》中"之"作动词、代词、连词的情况进行考察分析,试图更好的掌握"之"的语法功能。

In The Analects of Confucius, ＂zhi＂ （之） is the most widely-used Chinese character, and also, it presents many different and complicated forms. This paper will analyze and study the circumstances that when ＂zhi＂（之） is used as a verb, pronoun and conjunction so as to help readers comprehend the grammatical function of it.
