The Pragmatical Analysis of the Humorous Language in the Framework of the Cooperative Principle

论文以Grice的会话合作原则理论框架为基础,以幽默语言为实例,探讨了会话合作原则及其四大准则在日常交际生活中的运用,重点分析幽默语言中的会话含义以及幽默语言的语用意义。经过分析,会话合作原则是日常交际的最高原则,恰当地违背合作原则可以使交际更富魅力而耐人寻味,幽默语言便是在违背合作原则的基础上产生的。

Based on the framework of Grice＇s Cooperative Principle, this article analyses the practical use of the principle and its four categories of maxims in daily life by giving humourous examples. Moreover, the article emphasizes the conversational implicature of humourous language. Through analysis, it comcs to the conclusion that thc Coopcrativc Principlc is thc most important onc in daily communication and properly violating it can make the communication more enchanting and more thought-provoking. Thus, humorous language is created on the basis of the violation of the Cooncrative Princinlc.
