摘要
通过从民族文化角度对英汉委婉语的差异作对比研究,本文得出英汉委婉语在对"酒""老""等级""阶级""贫穷"的表达上各具特色,并且在发展上表现出趋同性。
Analyzing English and Chinese euphemisms from the aspect of national culture, this paper puts fonward that English and Chinese euphemisms are different on the expession of alchole, old, class and poor, etc. and the development of them has the trend of continuous integration.
