The reamns for the prosperity of small workshop production in the Han Dynasty are analyzed, which are policy adjustments and the progress of production technology. The various types of small workshop production and the dominance of small work production in private business in the Han Dynasty are introduced. The impacts of small work production are discussed, especially on socio-economic, on the changing of consumer attitudes, on the evolution of family patterns, and on the changes in social customs.
