摘要
红色尖晶石在外观上与红宝石较为相似,在珠宝批发市场上常见到将红色尖晶石称为小红宝石来销售。对红色尖晶石的宝石学特征进行了初步研究,利用常规宝石学仪器即可鉴定这种红色尖晶石。
Red spinels and rubies are similar in appearance and it is very common in the wholesale jewelry markets that red spinels are sold as little rubies.Some preliminary researches are done on the gemological characteristics of red spinels,which shows that they can be identified with conventional gemological instruments.
