The concept ＂ harmonious world＂ proposed by Chinses President Hu Jintao is an important theoretical innovation for handling of international relation correctly. With the CPC＇s party diplomacy as an important part of the overall diplomacy of China, the concept of harmonious world becomes the new guideline of the CPC for foreign affairs. The CPC has implementea it conscientiously in the diplomatic affairs, and made outstanding achievements, displayed new face and features： advocating the overall plans for national interests and the interests of all mankind, emphasizing harmony of various civilizations without uniformity, putting more emphasis on promoting people - centred concepts, seeking further systematic intercourse between the parties of big countries, paying particular attention to presenting a good international image of the CPC. With these new features of party diplomacy, the CPC will open up more vast stage and enhance friendship between the Chinese people and the people of rest part of the world, and promote democratization of international society.
