产业关联、技术差距与外商直接投资的技术溢出

本文运用非均衡面板数据的广义矩估计,从产业关联和技术差距的角度考察了外商直接投资对中国纺织业的技术溢出效应。经验分析结论表明,外商直接投资主要通过水平关联和后向关联对纺织业内资企业产生溢出效应;外商直接投资是否通过水平关联促进内资企业生产效率的改善还取决于内外资企业间的技术差距,只有当内外资企业技术差距小于门限值时,外商直接投资才会通过水平关联产生技术溢出,技术差距大于门限值时,外商直接投资通过水平关联产生市场窃取效应。

This paper studies FDI productivity spillovers in China's textile industry with GMM estimation on unbalanced panel data from the standpoint of industrial linkage and the technological gap between local firms and foreign firms.The empirical analysis conclusion is as follows.FDI has productivity spillovers on local firms in textile industry mainly through horizontal linkage and backward linkage.Whether FDI promotes local firms' productivity depends on the technology gap between local firms and foreign firms.FDI has productivity spillovers through horizontal linkage when the gap is smaller than the threshold,however FDI has market-stealing effect when the gap is bigger than the threshold.
