摘要
基于城市规划工作的特点与要求,一个工程数据库既要存贮字符型数据,又要存贮图形数据。本文提出一种图形数据的关系表示方法,从而实现了图形数据与字符数据的相互转换,解决了图形数据的存贮组织和查询处理。在INFORMIX关系数据库管理系统和GKS图形核心系统支持下,给出了一个基于关系模型的工程数据库系统的设计,并在PC/XT微型机上开发出一个应用于城市规划工作的,既能处理字符型数据,又能处理图形数据的统一的工程数据库系统。
On the basis of the special needs of city planning, an engineering database must store both text data and graphic data. We put forward a relational presentation method for graphic data. Thus we have realized the transformation between text data and graphic data, and solved the problems about storage organization and query manipulation of graphic data. With the help of the suppor of INFORMIX RDBMS and GKS, we have given out a design of engineering databasesystem which is an extension of a relational model and developed the engineering database system on PC/XT microcomputer which is applied in city planning and is an integrated software for both text data management and graphic data management.
