语言中的隐喻是人类最常见的思维方法之一,也是最基本的认知方式之一,通过隐喻将人类某一领域的经验挪用来表现另一领域的经验,从而创造一个新的概念。当代汉语中的许多流行短语都是通过隐喻构词而产生的,隐喻化是产生新词新义的有效机制。隐喻具有矛盾性、模糊性和程度性等语义特征,这些语义特征和流行短语的语义泛化之间有着十分密切的联系。

One of the most common manners for human to think is using language metaphor,which is also one of the fundamental ways for cognition.Metaphor often creates new concepts.This is achieved by employing experience from one field to express experience of another field.This phenomenon is manifested by contemporary Chinese where many popular phrases are actually produced by metaphor word-formation.That is to say,metaphor is an effective mechanism for generating new words that carry new meanings.Essentially,metaphor has several semantic features such as contradiction,fuzziness and degree,which have a close relationship between the generalizations of semantic.
