OBJECTIVE:To explore the change on cycle of lymphocytes and tumor marker levels of workers exposed to asphalt fume.METHODS:Thirty-one five melting asphalt workshop workers were selected as a contact group,27 workers of non-operating asphalt fume department as a control group, and the cycle of lymphocytes and tumor marker levels were examined.RESULTS: The cells of G0/G1(93.37±1.53)% and S(3.33±3.00)% in the contact group were less than those of G0/G1(94.80±0.85)% and S(3.40±1.41)% in the control group, the cells of G2/M(3.30±1.39)% in the contact group were more than those of G2/M(1.80±2.26)% in the control group, but there were no significant differencers(P0.05).Compared with PI(0.05±0.01) and DNARC(207.00±3.11) in the control group,PI(0.07±0.02) and DNARC(209.93±0.50) in the contact group were higher, but there were no significant differences(P0.05).The levels of CEA(9.98±1.17) and NSE(5.03±3.39) and AFP(28.92±10.25) and CYFRA21-1(1.71±1.46) in the contact group were all higher than those of CEA(8.55±1.51) and NSE(3.24±2.00) and AFP(23.85±14.93) and CYFRA21-1(0.84±0.50) in the control group, but there were no significant differences(P0.05).CONCLUSION: There is no change on the cycle of lymphocytes and tumor marker levels of workers exposed to asphalt fume.
